February Snow Fall in Middle Georgia

It was Friday, February 12, 2010.  As luck would have it, the Human Kid was out of school on holiday.  Other local schools not already on holiday had declared a snow day.  Early in the afternoon, the flakes began to fall and continued to fall throughout the afternoon and evening.  About 3:00 p.m., we couldn't stand being inside any longer.  We put on our coats and put the Brindle Kids in their coats.

We went out into the 1-1/2" of snow for a walk around the neighborhood.  First, we wanted to get photos of the Kids.  As you can see, they were utterly dismayed by the coats and hoods.  They were so dismayed they they spent all of their time entangling their leashes.  In fact, they spent sooooo much time tangling themselves that by the time we had a couple of photos, we were so cold that we decided to ditch the idea of the walk and go back inside.

This was the BEST kind of snow day.  It was beautiful for a while. . . and gone the next day!
