Greyhounds and the Cherry Blossom Festival

Calling all Greyhound families – Save the date!

The SEGA application for the upcoming Cherry Blossom Festival Parade has been approved!

The parade will be held in beautiful downtown Macon, Sunday, March 21st at 3 p.m. on Cherry & and Mulberry Streets.

For the first time ever, we’ll be able to promote Greyhound adoption on a HUGE scale at one of middle Georgia’s largest events. We hope to have lots of hounds and hound families marching in the parade. Gather all your hounds and join us!

The parade organizers insist that each marcher complete a liability waiver.  If you and your hounds can march with us, contact me at lynnwmc@yahoo.com, and I'll send you the waiver form.  Once I know you're participating, I'll be able to share the exact time and location we must all report.

This will be a great day for the hounds! Please let me know if you have questions, suggestions, etc.

Stay tuned for lots of photos!

  1. I hope you have great parade weather. We just missed out St. Patty's day parade because of the rain. Wet dogs are not happy dogs.
