Greyhound Ads

I either came across these ads with greyhounds in them myself or a friend(s) brought them to my attention.

About this first Absolut Vodka ad featuring robotic greyhounds:  The dogs in this video ARE NOT REAL.  I have never been to a greyhound track, but I have seen my hounds racing each other at the dog park.  This is a remarkable depiction of them doing what they were bred to do - running - which is a joy to behold.  Please don't leave nasty comments or smack me when you see me.

The next ad is for Italian Trussardi jeans:

Considering that the jeans are regularly priced at $490.00, I don't think I'll be getting any of
those in the near future. I will, however, be glad to take the dog.
Seems manufacturers have long considered the greyhound breed to be a positive marketing image:

Skechers thought so, too.  Their desire to use greyhounds in a series of ads resulted in what is now remembered as the great "Skechers/Superbowl Ad Controversy of 2012."
